William H. Hogan is currently the Dean of the College of Health at the University of Alaska Anchorage. Prior to joining UAA in the fall of 2011, Hogan was a Senior Fellow with the Alaska Mental Health Trust Authority. Previously he had been the Commissioner, Deputy Commissioner and the Director of the Division of Behavioral Health with the Alaska Department of Health and Social Services. Hogan first came to Alaska to be the CEO of LifeQuest (now Mat-Su Health Services), the community mental health center in Wasilla. Hogan has a Master of Science in Social Work from West Virginia University. He currently serves on the board of directors of the Mat-Su Health Foundation and the Mat-Su Regional Medical Center and is the principal owner of Answer Creek Consulting, a health and social service consultation organization.
