About the Office of Public Affairs |
The Statewide Office of Public Affairs provides public relations, marketing and communications expertise for the UA system administration and Board of Regents. We work collaboratively with the Advancement, Marketing/Publications and University Relations departments at each campus.
We are a “service department” providing the following:
- Media relations
- Marketing/advertising (including the award winning statewide advertising campaign, www.uareelworld.com)
- Publications (Regents’ Recap, President’s Report, Foundation’s Report on Giving, Advocacy packet material, including Facts Not Fiction, SW directory, Budget and Performance Summary, Many Traditions brochure, and others) and graphic design services
- Web Design and standards for alaska.edu pages
- Internal employee communications
