Uploading Your Files to the Server
Instructions for the PC
Here's what you'll need to upload your documents to
the UAF web server:
- 1) An account on the UAF web server, including the user id and
password given to you by the System Administrator.
- 2) A dial-up or ethernet connection to UAF.
- 3) Software called SFTP, which comes with the SSH software,
available for free from the UAF

If you use Dreamweaver MX 2004, SFTP is built in to
the program's site definition features. Instructions are also included
on the Help Desk page here.
