Citrix Installation Instructions

NOTE: You are not required to delete your current Citrix client before upgrading.

To download the installation file, click on the following link:

1) Ensure that the �Save in� field at the top of the dialog box is �Desktop� and click the �Save� button.

2) Close all programs and open windows that you may have been using and double-click the following icon on your desktop:

3) Select �Next� on the Installshield, Welcome, and the Citrix License Agreement Screens. When prompted with the following box, select upgrade the existing client. NOTE: If this is a new install of Citrix, only the �Create a new installation in a separate location� will be available.

4) The following box will appear. Input your Banner User ID here. Select �Next�.

5) Under �Select Desired Features� the radial button should be set to �No�. Click the �Next� button to continue the installation.

6) A box will appear relating the installation or update of the Citrix ICA Client is complete. Select �OK�.

7) The following box will appear. Double-click the �Citrix Program Neighborhood�

8) If the following box appears, you are complete with the exception of checking/resetting your hotkeys. Please refer to Hot Keys.pdf for these instructions. If this is a new install of Citrix and not an upgrade, there will only be one icon, �Add ICA Connection�. Continue to the next set of instructions.

Creating the UA Farm

1) Open your Citrix Program Neighborhood.

2) Double Click �Application Set Manager�.

(If you see �Add ICA Connection�, click on the up arrow)

3) Double Click �Find New Application Set�.

4) Click Next

5) Click Server Location

6) Select TCP/IP in network protocol

7) Click Add and type in the 11 Digit number shown (with Periods).

8) Click Add again and do the same except type in �137.229.10.201�.

8) Click Ok.

9) Click on the Drop down Arrow and Select Banner Farm, and select �Next�.

NOTE: After 21 Oct 2002, it will be UA Farm, not BANNER Farm.

10) Verify the settings are the same as shown, and click next then select finish.

11) Return to the main Citrix Program Neighborhood screen. Right click on Banner Farm and select Application Set Settings.

12) Select the Default Options tab. Set the encryption level to 128bit.

13) Select the Login Information Tab. Enter the shown Information and select OK.

14) Return the main Citrix Program neighborhood screen and double click �Banner Farm�. Your screen should look like the following: From this point you should be able to connect to Ban 5 Training, Ban5Prep, or Ban5Production.

Citrix Configuration: Run this after you have installed the Citrix application.  You can also run this file to reset your Citrix settings if you have problems.
