| Distributed technicians, located
at departments, units and rural sites of the University of Alaska Fairbanks
campus, are partners with the Division of Computing for the purpose
of utilizing Microsoft software distributed under the Microsoft Licensing
Agreement for use by UAF faculty and staff.
Distributed technicians
are recognized by means of a signed service level agreement that is
updated each fiscal year. The agreement must be signed by both the
technician and their supervisor. Access
the current SLA.
Distributed technicians
may submit job tickets for their department in one of two ways:
Call in your ticket by dialing x4002.
Email your ticket info to techticket@uaf.edu
Information to include
when calling or emailing is your name, contact number and user name
(for email response), a brief one-line description of the problem followed
by a full description of the problem and any troubleshooting attempts
you have tried. Please specify how you wish to be notified when work
is completed.
