These people shown below are authorized by OIT to perform troubleshooting, maintenance and other computer related work on University of Alaska Fairbanks owned computers.

University employees are encouraged to verify a computer technician's identification with this webpage. If you encounter anyone working on a University owned computer that has not been identified through this webpage or does not show an Active status, please contact the OIT Helpdesk at 474-6564 or 450-8300.After 10pm, please call University Police dispatch at 474-6200.

Authority to work on DESKTOPS includes:

• Operating system configuration, installation, troubleshooting
• Installation and troubleshooting of peripherals (scanners, printers, etc)
• Hardware installations that require opening of physical computer casing
