Campus Technology Services: Computing Labs

Campus Technology Services maintains several computing labs at UAF. Some of the labs are for general use by University of Alaska students, faculty, and staff, while other labs are designed to meet the university's instructional needs. Each lab contains both Windows and Apple computer systems, laser printers, DVD drives, a wide variety of software and related equipment. Consumers who need high-speed Internet access may connect using wired access ports or wireless access points. Although there is no per-visit fee to use the computing labs, consumers are assessed a fee for supplies, such as CD/DVD discs or printer paper.

Student consultants are located in the Bunnell Student Access Lab. The consultants assist consumers who encounter any technical problems, such as logging on, printing, accessing the internet, and more. All computing labs require a university log-in and password.
