JOB FAMILY PROCESS
Submitting New Position
Descriptions (effective May 12, 2003)
As a part of the Job Family Classification process, new job descriptions
are required for all regular exempt and non-exempt positions not yet assigned
to a job family. The new Position Description (PD) Form, which replaces
the JEF, will be used for this purpose.
To create a PD form log in
to UAKjobs.com/hr. If you have
questions about completing a PD form please contact your MAU HR Office.
Reclassification
Freeze
Effective immediately, new reclassification activity is frozen until three
months following the implementation of a job family. For the upcoming
job family groups, this replaces the current nine month post-implementation
freeze. Please note that the nine month freeze will still apply to the
job families that already have been implemented.
