The purpose of the imagery project and records retention program is to develop a system wide digital document-imaging infrastructure that when appropriate digitizes administrative records and utilizes technology to increase business efficiencies; and, to develop and maintain a records retention program that will provide substantial economic, operational, and legal benefits for the University of Alaska.
