 Katie Bausler holds a Master of Arts in English from Middlebury College and a Bachelor of Arts in Broadcast Communications Arts and International Relations from San Francisco State University.  Most courses for her Master’s Degree were taken at the Breadloaf School of English, UAS campus. She has more than 20 years of radio and television broadcasting experience as a writer, host, narrator and producer. Katie worked with former UAS Marketing and Public Relations Director Kevin Myers to develop the Alaska College Track public television series, which since 2004 has been telling the stories of Southeast Alaska Native students, many of them the first in their immediate families to attend college. She now encourages students to start a life adventure at UAS. Learn. Engage. Change.
